Third week weigh-in

Yesterday Ben weighed me in and it said 133!! I am on target for a healthy weight loss for 2 pounds per week!! I am so excited! I want to look stunning by Madison's Birthday! At this rate, If I keep losing 2 pounds every week until the end of my 6-week program I will be at 127! That is when I will start the P90X Workout to keep toning my body and def be ready for bikini season. I want to tahnk my wonderful husband for eating so healthy with me (we don't eat any meal with more than 50g of fat) and my beautiful daughter for being such a great baby in her pack n play while I work out. I ♥ you my buttheads!!

New Year, New Size!

While I was in the Marines, they would only allow you 6 months to get back under your weight max and be able to run 3 miles in under 31 minutes after having a baby. Since I am not in anymore, I still feel like any weight I still have after 6 months is just pure my own fault and therefore not considered baby weight anymore! That is purely my theory. Well, it has clearly been 9 months since my daughter was born and pre baby I weighed 126, so I am DETERMINED to get back to 126 or below. I have been working my hardest for the past 2 weeks and lost a total of 6 pounds! I am now at 135 (I get weighed in by my husband every Sunday). I am less than 10 pounds away from being back to my normal weight and I feel better than ever! My endurance level is sky rocketing and I am ready for anything that comes my way. I am excited for this weeks weigh in, because I am hoping to be at about 132 or 133. Then the week after that, I am praying I will be in the 120's again! My pants are fitting loose and my shirts are also fitting better. We shall see how everything goes on Sunday weigh in day! Wish me luck!

Happy 9 months old Madison Paige!

My babygirl is growing so fast! She is already 9 months old and weighs in at 17lbs and 26.5 in! I cannot believe how far she has come and smart she is. She melts my heart every time I look at her! Here are her 9 month pictures.. We dressed her in a Hello Kitty Kimono (bought here in Japan) with a Geisha bow and my husband and I made the Torii Gate. We topped it off with cherry blossoms and a bamboo mat. My precious little Japanese doll.

GUNNERY SERGEANT!

Ben finally was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps!! So proud of him, because he is such a great Marine and truely deserved it!

Last days in Cali..

To wrap up our vaca to California and Texas, we took Madison out in her new Maclaren stroller around Valley Fair Mall. We stopped at Tiffany & Co to finally gte our rings cleaned and found out they have an upgrade plan!! Almost three years married and screw the five year mark, third year is a charm! hehe. Well, we decided to take Madi-Pataddy into Build A Bear. She enjoyed stuffing her bear and we had tons of fun with her in there. We even named bear her Sakura Carver and she has her very own passport :) Enjoy!

While we were in California, we decided to take Madison to Hooters for her 1st time. It was Ben, myself, my mom, Auntie Dani and Auntie Ham. Then we took her again right before we left to see her Tio and Tia one last time. It was a blast and all the Hooter's girls loved her :)

WHAT?? NO PASSPORTS?!

On the 5th, we were scheduled to depart SFO at 10:50am. We made sure we had everything and were ready to go. About five minutes from the airport, we stopped so my pregnant cousin could have some breakfast and with time to spare we took our time. It is at that moment we parked when I realized I didn't have my purse!! It owuld have been okay for my G-ma to send it to me in the mail, but both mine and Madison's passports were int here along with my wallet. My heart dropped and started making phone calls because the traffic was so heavey there was no way we could drive all the way back and be able to make the flight. I was mortified to say the least and almost gave up hope. Until then my brilliant husband siad if my uncle can emet us half way off the freeway and give us the purse. To make a long story short, that is exactly what happened and we made our flight with only 15 minutes to spare. I am so grateful for everyone who took part in making this happen: Uncle David, Nate and Isabel. Y'ALL ARE THE BEST!!

PARTY IN THE USA!! 2010 STYLE..

This year we didn't plan on doing anything too spectacular because we wanted to spend it with Madison. For Christmas, she received a beautiful party dress, so we decided it would be her New Year's dress :) She looked so gorgeous, my little supermodel has flare! My brother Vince planned for everyone to have dinner at Red Lobster, so it ended up being many more people than I expected and I enjoyed it very much! We then went to Safeway to get some adult bev's and headed on over to my prima Monica's casa. I swear Madison must have known it was party time because she was laughing and playing with everyone at 11pm!! Way past her bed time. She ended up passing out before midnight, but Ben and I gave her a kiss at midnight and told her "Happy New Year!" The night pretty much ended at about 4am. Ben woke up hungover and I just woke up with my cold 10x worse than it was the day we went to the snow. I am still sick as I type this. I am getting better, better late than never, right?! So, we ended the year with a safe and fun time with family, what more could we ask for?!
